How to take Screenshot on iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR

Taking Screenshots on iPhone (X, XR, XS, XS Max):- Screenshots are an easy way to share, whatever you see on your phone screen. This may include taking screenshots of an image, an app, a tweet or anything that you may want to capture and save on your phone for sharing or viewing later.

Taking screenshots on iPhone 8 or below was simple as we just had to press the Home and Side Buttons. But since the iPhone X and later models like XS, XS Max and XR don't feature a Home button, so many new users are having confusion on How to take Screenshots on iPhone XR easily.

Steps to Take Screenshots on iPhone X, XR, XS, XS Max:

Step 1:
First, open the app, site or anything on your iPhone screen that you would like to take a screenshot of.

Step 2:
Now Press and release quickly the Volume Up Button on the left and Side Button on the right, simultaneously.

Step 3:
If the Screen flashes white and a shutter sound is heard, then the Screenshot is taken successfully.

Note:- You will hear the shutter sound only if your sound is enabled.

Step 4:
To open or view the screenshot click the preview of the screenshot on the bottom or just go to the image gallery, where the screenshots will be saved.

This way you can take screenshot easily by pressing the buttons, but there is another way in which you can take a screenshot on your iPhone XR by using the Assistive Touch feature.

Step 1:
Open the Settings and go to General -> Accessibility -> Assistive Touch and turn the Assistive Touch On. You can be able to see a small transparent button on the bottom of your iPhone screen. This will confirm that the Assistive Touch is turned On.

Step 2:
Now, click on the Customise Top Level Menu and click on the Custom and then select the Screenshot from the list of options.

Step 3:
When you want to take a screenshot, click on the Assistive Touch button and then select the Screenshot and the screenshot will be taken.
